Overview
Deborah Crain is a shareholder and Certified Business Coach in Lugenbuhl’s Houston office. She began practicing law in Louisiana at a private practice, representing individuals and entities in business matters, tax disputes, road defect claims and insurance defense cases. Having relocated to Texas in 2009, Deborah concentrates on business-related matters, including setting up new businesses, business litigation, and both commercial and residential construction issues.
Outside the office
Outside of her law practice, Deborah is passionate about serving the deaf community and volunteers weekly at the Triumph Church in Fort Bend County as a sign language interpreter. She has also worked with the Harris County District Attorney’s office to implement remote video interpreting, so every deaf person has access to a sign language interpreter when communicating with Houston police.
She’s also happy to contribute her time and resources supporting the local Fort Bend County schools, including currently serving as corporate counsel for the Fort Bend ISD Education Foundation, an integral community partner in supporting our schools. Whether as a financial supporter or speaker at a school about being an attorney, Deborahs believe it is imperative for the next generation to have the resources and information they need to make good choices regarding their future. Originally from New Orleans and a former Baton Rouge resident, she is a lifelong LSU Tiger fan.
