Overview
A member of Lugenbuhl’s insurance section, Carin Marcussen’s multi-disciplinary practice includes complex litigation, including multi-district litigation (MDL). She has extensive experience in insurance coverage disputes involving all types of policies (commercial general liability; automobile; commercial property; homeowners; life, accident, and disability; employee benefit; oil and gas, E&O, etc.), bad faith, wrongful death, personal injury, professional negligence, breach of contract, fraud, Consumer Protection Act and surface damages. Carin has also represented clients in business disputes and broker/dealer litigation in court or arbitration with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Carin excels in managing complex cases and develops strategies to ensure all tasks are completed in a strategic, timely and appropriate manner from initial intake through, if necessary, appeal.
Outside the Office
When not busy solving challenging problems for clients, Carin enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, reading and traveling.
