As an associate in the firm's New Orleans office, I have a diverse practice and am well-versed in many areas of commercial law.

Overview

Avery is an associate with diverse experience working across multiple practice areas, including commercial litigation and transactions, admiralty and maritime, and bankruptcy.  She is goal-driven and demonstrates open and honest communication when working with her peers and clients.

Avery is a native of the New Orleans area and earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2022. While in law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review. Her comment addressing the applicability of the Americans with Disabilities Act to foreign-flag cruise ships operating in the United States was published in Volume 96 of the Review. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Barry W. Ashe of the Eastern District of Louisiana and, after graduation, returned to serve as his law clerk for the 2023-2024 term.

Outside the Office

Outside the office, you can often find Avery playing tennis, cheering on the Saints and LSU Tigers, or spending time with her husband and their rescue dog, Dumplin.
